The Southeast Missouri Choral Union and University Choir will join the Symphony in the lyrical, heartfelt Requiem by French composer Gabriel Fauré. One of the greatest choral and orchestral masterpieces ever, the Requiem has enchanted and inspired audiences for more than a century. Also featured on this concert will be the winner of the exciting new “Rising Star” competition for pre-college string players.
